Geeky Utilities:

• GFX converter 1 - A Windows-based .bmp image to raw data graphics converters. The zip contains two utils, one to extract 1 to 8 linear bitplane data from a 256 colour pic (plus seperate palette), the other to convert a 256 colour pic to 16x16 pixel tiles (256 bytes each). Executables and Purebasic source included.
• Portfun - A tiny util for tinkering with the bits of the PC's parallel port. You can set/reset (write) bits 0-7 of port $378 by pressing keys and also see what's in $379 and $37a (ie: read the status registers.. Ack / Busy etc). Direct access to hardware required so run in REAL MODE DOS (eg: use a boot disk).
