"Type 1" Spring for Commodore C64 breadbin, C64C (and some VIC20) keyboards

"Type 1" Plunger & Spring for C64(C), C16 (and some VIC20) keyboards ~3mm tip

These plungers have a shorter (approx 3mm) tip as usually found on the C64C (white) keyboard, but also on some breadins, the Commodore C16 and some VIC20s. Key caps designed for both types fit well.

• From a standard metal spring Type 1 C64 keyboard.
• Clean and in good condition.
• Individually tested to make sure the conductive rubber pad is OK.
• Note: key caps designed for 5mm tip types are not a perfect fit on 3mm plungers.

Spare Keys for  the Common C64C - Colour Grade 1.5

Used, but clean and undamaged keys sold individually. Each key includes a plunger and spring - though these are available separately below if a key cap is not required. (Shift Lock does not include the switch).

The Keys are from a standard UK mechanically-springed C64C (white) keyboard. There were at least two key designs - these keys are from the common type keyboard with all the characters printed on the key tops (nothing on the front) and the "Shift" lettering offset. They are clean with intact printing.

Colour grade 1 - 1.5: Little to no age yellowing. The following keys in this grade are currently available (Space bar is listed separately when available.)

These keys are from the rarer early C64C keyboards, which have characters printed on the front (in grey) and top (in black). They use the standard spring / 3.5 mm type 1 cross-point plunger which is included (these are available separately if a key cap is not required). Plunger & Spring from "Type 3" Commodore C64C keyboard 

These plungers have an unusual fitting - instead of the normal cross-point, they are hollow with a slotted top (please see photo).

• Clean and in good condition.
• Spring also supplied. Note due to scarcity the spring may be from a Type 1 keyboard - they're 1mm longer but it makes no perceivable difference in use.

Space Bar clip for C64C keyboard *For Type 3 Keyboards*

These clips press into the main plastic body of the keyboard assembly and hold the metal rod part of the space bar mechanism in place (there is one at each end).

• From a "Type 3" C64C keyboard - ie: the type with notched, hollow plungers (not the black crosspoints). 
• Despite looking very similar, these will not fit breadbin keyboards.

Pair of keyboard support brackets for C64C - Common short board

• Used in the C64C models that have external case screws and the standard, smaller C64C motherboard (ie: not PCB ASSY-250466 or cases that just clip together)
• Also suitable for the newly manufactured C64C cases from Pixelwizard
• Supplied with two short wide headed screws that hold down the keyboard and two 10mm self-tapping screws that hold the brackets to the case (through the motherboard).
• Used, so may have some small marks or minor rust patches
• Note - these are too tall for Royal Mail's "large letter" 25mm postage tier hence the shipping rate increase when ordering.

• Pushes into the space bar to hold the metal support bar
• The same type appears to be used for the breadbin and C64C's space bar (ie: those that have the common black, cross-point type plungers. They're too tight for the Type3 space bars which originally had black inserts.)

• Metal cross bar that clips under the space bar. 
• Taken from a Type1 keyboard so suitable for C64C, and Breabins which have black cross-head plungers.
